Experience with Windows computer applications and working knowledge of electronic applications and services used in libraries is required. The ability to maintain positive relationship with the public and co-workers. The candidate will work a regular weekly schedule at the reference desk, including one night each week (Thursday), and occasional weekend or evening hours as needed. The successful candidate will have responsibility for reference desk coverage, overseeing day-to-day and long-term administration of the library’s automation system, assisting with maintaining and updating the library’s website, instructing patrons and staff in computer and electronic applications, collection development of print and digital materials, and other duties as required.
